Nomad is a playful interpretation of embroidered decorative tribal textiles featuring wild climbing vines with hanging abstract fruits and flowers. The original artwork has been hand drawn by Ellen using oil pastels and pencils and then screen printed to maintain the original texture and character. 

Also available as a wide width wallpaper and three sizes of cushions.

Featured in HOUSE & GARDEN’S ‘Rising Stars’  Ellen is one of the brightest new names in Interiors, Architecture and Garden Design. We are proud to be in her company and featuring her as a Yard Friend.  

Ellen Merchant is a decorative artist, designer and printmaker based in London. Drawing from a love of antique textiles and botanical florals, Ellen creates hand-drawn, uplifting prints with a decorative aesthetic that pays homage to the British Arts & Crafts movement. 

Ellen specializes in original pattern design, impactful colour and the application of traditional craft skills and values to create vibrant, contemporary design for a modern audience.
